Lucy lives with several health conditions that require continuous and comprehensive care. She needs assistance with airway clearance, has a gastrostomy for swallowing difficulties, a stoma for waste drainage, a suprapubic catheter for urine drainage, and requires full mobility support. These complex needs could impede her ability to partake in activities, but with the right care, Lucy has been able to enjoy a fulfilling life.
Lucy is in her early-thirties and has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy. This presents a range of complex health needs, including respiratory health, mobility challenges, digestive health issues, epilepsy management, and multiple learning difficulties.
